SecureSmile™ Program

SUMMARY

Your Natural Teeth™ implant bridge(s) and supporting implants are covered by a limited 20-year program. If a dental implant fails to integrate or the Natural Teeth™ implant bridge breaks or requires replacement or repair, we will remedy with a $500 deductible per occurrence for 20 years.

LIMITED 20-YEAR PROGRAM

An active SecureSmile™ program requires biannual visits to our Natural Teeth™ office. At each visit, medical history is updated and reviewed, an implant examination is performed, any necessary radiographs are taken, assessment and occlusal adjustment are carried out as needed, and cleaning is performed. We will identify if there are problems or potential problems that require attention. Our process will help to ensure the long-term success of your Natural Teeth™ bridge and implants. Biannual appointments are required to maintain your active SecureSmile™ coverage.

Dental implants are susceptible to inflammation and bone loss when plaque accumulates. Your home hygiene routine can significantly influence long-term success and failure. After your SecureSmile™ appointment, a specific homecare routine is developed for you that you are expected to maintain for the SecureSmile™ program coverage.

In the first 24 months after surgery, if a dental implant fails or the implant bridge(s) breaks, we will replace or repair as needed at no additional charge. After this timeframe, if a dental implant fails or the Natural Teeth™ implant bridge(s) breaks or requires replacement or repair, we will repair or replace with a $500 deductible per occurrence for up to 20 years as long as you maintain an active SecureSmile™ plan

$600 Fee for warranty due by 1/31 of each year. Includes complimentary:

  • Annual Exam
  • Bite analysis and adjustments
  • Implant maintenance and inspection
  • Removal, polish and reinsertion of bridge
  • Change hardware if needed
  • 1 additional cleaning

If additional cleanings are recommended, a separate treatment plan will be presented.

LIMITED COVERAGE CONDITIONS

The SecureSmile™ program is void for those who fail to keep regular and timely biannual SecureSmile™ appointments, for those who smoke, vape, or use any form of nicotine or marijuana, and/or for those who have or develop a systemic health concern (for example, but not limited to: diabetes, autoimmune disorders, severe osteoporosis, or any condition requiring long steroid use).

The risks for failure and other complications are significantly higher in smokers/vapers and such patients are strongly encouraged to quit at least one week prior to surgery. Continuing to smoke and/or vape will void the SecureSmile™ warranty. It should also be noted that smoking has been linked to oral pathology including aggressive cancer. Patients who are not prepared to quit altogether will be required to avoid any smoking during the early healing period of 3-6 weeks in standard implant cases, and for up to 6 months in FAST™ Zygoma cases.

To maintain an active SecureSmile™ plan, you will be required to return for biannual hygiene visits in our office. The SecureSmile™ program is void for those who fail to keep this regular and timely 6-month SecureSmile™ appointment, for those who smoke, vape or use any form of nicotine or marijuana, and/or for those who have or develop a systemic health concern (for example, but not limited to: diabetes, autoimmune disorders, severe osteoporosis, or any condition requiring long steroid use).  At each SecureSmile™ visit we will perform the following: medical history updated and reviewed, any necessary radiographs,  oral and implant examination, assessment and adjustment of occlusion as needed, dental cleaning in the upper and lower arch. We will identify if there are problems or potential problems that require attention. Our process will help to ensure the long-term success of your Natural Teeth™ bridge and implants. These 6-month appointments are required to maintain your active SecureSmile™ limited warranty.

Dental implants are susceptible to inflammation and bone loss when plaque accumulates. Your home hygiene routine can significantly influence long-term success and failure. After each SecureSmile™ appointment, a specific homecare routine is developed for you that you are expected to maintain for the SecureSmile™ warranty to apply.
